Different types of ribbon:
1. Single satin ribbon:

so brighter. It also found as tubular form.
2. Double satin ribbon:
Here double warp yarn is used and it is satin base weave.
That’s it is called double satin ribbon.
Glittering surface has seen in both side of double satin
ribbon .Double satin ribbon is both face sided ribbon.
3. Faille Ribbon:
Ribbon made of silk, rayon or others artificial continuous
filaments called faille ribbon .It is one kind of plain weave rib fabric and
its luster is so bright. In the selvedge of fabric much lustrous and brighter
yarn is used.
4. Faille tine ribbon:
This type of ribbon is similar to the faille ribbon but it
has open texture which is different from faille ribbon.
5. Gallon ribbon:
The ribbon which is formed by transverse rib and which has
two or more picks called gallon ribbon. This ribbon is one kind of tubular
weave and it has used special type of selvedge.

7. Millenery petersham ribbon:
Silk, rayon & warp yarn made woven fabric where single
picks with coarse weft yarn is used. Here 24-36 rib is present in every inch of
fabric.
